Native Plants Queensland's volunteers have produced a number of publications that are useful to people interested in our native plants.
Jan Sked is the editor of our quarterly journal 'Native Plants Queensland' which is free to all members. It contains information on upcoming events across the state as well as interesting and topical articles about native plants. You can find some of the plant articles that have featured in the journal here.
Jan has also authored our plant information brochures. With titles such as 'How to attract birds to your garden' and 'Growing Grevilleas' these are handy brochures to keep to hand whenever you visit a nursery to buy native plants.
Native Plants Queensland publishes a number of books on various aspects of Australian native plants. These will be available soon at our upcoming online bookshop. We also have reviews of other publications that may be of interest to those who wish to know about our Australian native plants.
From time to time, as our knowledge of Australian native plants grows, changes are made to way they are classified or named. Our guide to the taxonomic changes to Queensland plants lists plants by both their old and new names.
Finally, you will find links to our sister organisations - other native plant societies around the country - here.
