This small book lists over 1,100 native species indigenous to the Pine Rivers District, on the northern border of Brisbane in south-eastern Queensland. 

It contains maps, a brief description and history of the area and many line drawings of the plants. Plants are listed in catalogue form by family, with botanical name, common name, form (whether tree, shrub, vine, etc.), flowering season and natural habitat. There is an Index to species at the back of the book. 

This book is invaluable to anyone living in south-eastern Queensland who is interested in the local native species.
