    Caboolture Daytime Branch

    09:30am 

    September Meeting – 9.30am at D’Aguilar Rest Area (UBD Map 35:L9). After meeting – walk at Raaen Road (UBD Map 36:A7). BYO morning tea/lunch. 

    Caboolture Daytime branch meets on the second Tuesday of each month at a different venue each time. Check our events calendar for details.  

    Meetings commence at 9.30 am and conclude at 2.30 pm. Please bring your morning tea, lunch and a  chair.  Wear sensible walking shoes, hat and insect repellent.

    Native Plants Queensland's Ipswich branch meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month (except January). We meet at the Environmental Education Centre, Queens Park, Ipswich.  Meetings start at 6:30pm, after which we welcome a guest speaker to give a talk starting at 7.30pm.

    Townsville branch meetings are held at 7:30pm on the second Wednesday of the month.  We meet at the Annandale Community Centre, rear of Ann­an­dale Central Shopping Centre, University Road, Townsville.

    Flower Show Set-up – volunteers are needed to help set up for the Flower Show and Plants Market.

    A tray of mixed sandwiches will be provided for our workers for Friday lunch. Region Council is covering the cost of this lunch. so if you are a volunteer you will not need to bring your own lunch.

    Cairns Esplanade - a gentle wander with maybe a lunchtime barbecue.

    Spring Flower Show and Native Plants Market

    09:00am - 03:00pm 

    Our wonderful Native Flower Show and Plants Market on the weekend 16-17 September at the Auditorium, Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens. 

    Our famous Australian native plants sale provides a huge range suitable for every garden situation, and expert advice on plant selection and care is available from the growers as well as members of Native Plants Queensland. Prices are very low and plants are available from tubes to mature plants - you will find plants that will never be on sale in commercial nurseries.  

    Come and enjoy the colour, the inspirational themed displays, the plants at bargain prices, light refreshments and books and advice from experts on our unique Australian native plants.

    Doors open 9am both days - $3 Entry
